Brazilian iron ore exports increased to 36m tonnes in July, up 2% m-o-m and up 15% y-o-y. Shipments increased to the second highest level in July, after they picked at 39m tonnes in May. The rise in exports is partially due to increase in Chinese demand.
Brazilian iron ore exports increased to 220.4m tonnes over the Jan.-July period, up 5.1m tonnes or 2.4% y-o-y.
