Coal inventories at major Chinese ports located by the Bohai Sea increased to 14.8m tonnes as of 6 November, up 1.3% w-o-w and up 17% y-o-y. This includes coal stocks at Qinhuangdao Port, which increased to just above 7m tonnes, up 2% w-o-w and up 28.1% y-o-y. Stocks at the Caifeidian Port increased to 3m tonnes, up 2.9% w-o-w and up 13.7% y-o-y. Similarly, coal inventories at Jingtang Port increased to 2.9m tonnes, up 3.2% w-o-w and up 10.1% y-o-y.
On the other hand, coal stocks at the Shenhua owned Huanghua Port, declined to 1.8m tonnes, down 6.3% w-o-w and down 16.4% y-o-y.
