Coal stocks at the European ARA terminals (Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp) increased to 5.7m tonnes as of 6 November, up 3.1% w-o-w and up 14.3% y-o-y. This includes the two largest terminals, EMO and OBA, which increased to 4.9m tonnes.
Stocks at EMO increased to 3m tonnes, up 7.1% w-o-w and up 30.4% y-o-y. OBA totalled 1.9m tonnes, down 2.1% w-o-w but still were 4.4% higher y-o-y.
Stocks at EBS remained steady at 210KT, unchanged w-o-w but still were 5% higher y-o-y. Stocks at OVET totalled 380KT, up 5.6% w-o-w but still were 5% lower y-o-y.
Inventories at Antwerp based ABT declined to 220KT, down 4.3% w-o-w and down 21.4% y-o-y.
