Indian renewable generation increased to 12.9TWh in July, up 15.1% y-o-y

Indian renewable generation increased to 12.9TWh in July, up 26.4% m-o-m and up 15.1% y-o-y. This includes wind power output, which increased to all-time high at 9.9TWh, up 36.3% m-o-m and up 41.2% y-o-y. Solar generation totalled 1.7TWh, down 7.7% m-o-m but still was 94.7% higher y-o-y. Power generation from other renewable sources such as biomass and waste totalled 1.3TWh, up 11.2% m-o-m but still was 21.5% lower y-o-y.

Renewable power output increased to 60.7TWh in July, up 5.4% y-o-y. Wind generation increased to 32.8TWh, up 37.8% y-o-y; while solar output near doubled tto 11.7TWh, up 96% y-o-y. On the other hand, power generation from biomass and waste declined to 12TWh, down 14.2% y-o-y.
