Coal stocks at Bohai Sea ports increased to 13.8m tonnes as of 25 September, up 2.8% w-o-w and up 50.6% y-o-y. This includes coal inventories at China’s main coal hub Qinhuangdao, which increased to 5.8m tonnes, up 7.9% w-o-w and up 83.1% y-o-y. Stocks at Caofeidian Port also raised to 3.2m tonnes, up 2.9% w-o-w and up 52.9% y-o-y.
Inventories at Jingtang Port, declined by 0.9% w-o-w to 3.2m tonnes, but still were 27.5% higher y-o-y. Stocks at Huanghua Ports decreased by 1.3% w-o-w to 2.3m tonnes; although still were 12.3% higher y-o-y.
