US domestic crude oil output recovered after the hurricane

US crude oil inventories totalled 468.2m barrels as of 8 September, up 1.3% w-o-w but still were 2.5% lower y-o-y. Gasoline stocks declined to 218.3m barrels, down 3.7% w-o-w and down 4.4% y-o-y.

US domestic crude oil production recovered last week after the damage caused by hurricane Harvey was finally brought back under control. US oil rigs and wells produced 9.4m barrels of crude oil during the week ending on 8 September, up 6.5% w-o-w and up 10.1% y-o-y.
